Bloomberg House to Convene Influential Global Leaders at Davos, Switzerland

A new venue will soon be opening its doors to global leaders attending the 2024 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Just steps from the Forum's Congress Centre at Promenade 115, Bloomberg House will be welcoming its very first guests when the conference starts next week.

Bloomberg's Presence at Davos

Bloomberg has had a long-standing presence at Davos. Our team of news and television colleagues have been interviewing leaders in government and business at the annual Forum for decades. With many attendees already engaging with Bloomberg's media platforms and the Bloomberg Terminal (and many other products), the company wanted to create a dedicated space for more meaningful interactions.

Special guests of the house include Bill Gates, Ruth Porat, Sam Altman, Kristalina Georgieva and Satya Nadella, among others who will be participating in interviews and discussions throughout the week.

A Hub for Global Dialogue

The Bloomberg House represents more than just a physical space – it's a manifestation of Bloomberg's commitment to fostering critical conversations about the global economy. The venue will host a series of intimate discussions, interviews, and networking events designed to bring together the world's most influential decision-makers.

"Bloomberg House provides an ideal setting for the kind of substantive conversations that drive global economic policy and business strategy."

— Kevin Krim, CEO of Bloomberg Media

Strategic Location and Design

The choice of location at Promenade 115 is strategic, placing Bloomberg House at the heart of Davos activity while maintaining an intimate atmosphere conducive to meaningful dialogue. The venue's design reflects Bloomberg's commitment to transparency and accessibility, featuring open spaces that encourage interaction and collaboration.

The house will feature state-of-the-art broadcast facilities, allowing for live interviews and discussions that will be shared across Bloomberg's global media network. This ensures that the conversations happening within Bloomberg House reach audiences worldwide, extending the impact of Davos discussions far beyond the Swiss Alps.

Looking Ahead

This inaugural year of Bloomberg House marks a significant milestone in Bloomberg's evolution as a convener of global thought leadership. The success of this initiative could pave the way for similar venues at other major international forums and conferences.

As global challenges become increasingly complex and interconnected, the need for platforms that facilitate meaningful dialogue between leaders has never been greater. Bloomberg House represents a commitment to providing exactly that kind of platform.
